City Share Price Movements (Week Ending 1.6.07)

This is the weekly article charting Manchester City Plc's share price movements during the last week. The price doesn't usually move very much and not many shares are usually traded, so you can pick up here at the end of each week our summary of the week gone by.

Last week saw Ray Ranson formally withdraw his indicative bid for Manchester City Plc but reserving his right to make a bid should any formal bids be forthcoming.

Whilst media speculation about Thaksin Shinawatra acquiring Manchester City Plc continues no formal bid has been made. Nothing has been heard from or of the "mystery American consortium" or indeed the other interested party (Manchester Evening News often refers to four interested parties) looking to acquire or invest in Manchester City Plc.

Until formal bids are made or additional information issued by the respective parties, share activity/ interest is likely to stay low. Saying that, there was a small amount os shares traded on Friday.

Last week:-
Finishing price (mid): 45p

As a share holder but more importantly a fan I am becoming increasingly worried about the situation at Manchester City. With time ticking away before the new season it appears we are losing players hand over fist. To me it is becoming evident that this Board is no longet capable of running this club. Is there no way that as shareholders we can bring in a vote of no confidence and get them out before they do further damage. Are they intent on asset stripping in order to get their investment out and run? And as for Souness no thankyou, bring back Pearse, except he would'nt come. We are fast becoming a laughing stock.Under the Trades Discription Act can we be refunded our Season Tickets as this is no longer a Football Club but a concert venue and JOKE

Maybe the Ray Ranson bid would have been the best move for the club. I have lost faith in the current board and have to add that if the much talked takeover doesn't take go through we are going to look rather stupid. The communication from the club has been an utter disgrace.

We are in uncertain times and the situation is becoming unreal.
How many shadows are circling the club ?
The Thai seems speechless on the situation or maybe its Little Frank Sidebottom in disguise.
The board ?
Typically of this regime,
fans last,
no comments,
no anything.
Mysterious Americans to boot in the background, Men in Black have a higher profile.
Draw a line publically Wardle on the senario, force the issue to a close on a not to far away date.
This situation has to resolved for better or worse quickly.
