Manchester City Supporters' Trust
The Manchester City Supporters' Trust is legally constituted and registered with the Financial Services Authority. Supporters' Trusts are set up to promote and support the concept of democratic supporter ownership and representation through mutual not for profit structures. They are also set up, to promote football clubs as civic and community institutions and work to preserve the competitive values of league football in the United Kingdom and promoting the health of the game.

Good move on going with Manchester City as opposed to Man City. Apart from simply preferring the full name of things rather than abbreviations, as an American Man City sounds gay (no offense anyone) when you don't know that you are referring to a soccer team. Along these lines, I think the Trust should lobby to get the club's badge to say Manchester City rather than MCFC. If you want people (overseas especially) to know who you are you should state your name. No kid outside the UK will lean toward MCFC, but if he learns Manchester City are rivals the famous Manchester United, well then that has some pulling power.

I agree to an extent with the anonymous contributor. City's new badge is very poor and use of MCFC does limit overseas recognition. A lot of clubs have gone back to their old ensignia, Barnsley and Chelsea recently. We have issues of licensing with ours but was this deal time limited? I'd like to see the proper badge back on the blue shirts.
