Good move on going with Manchester City as opposed to Man City. Apart from simply preferring the full name of things rather than abbreviations, as an American Man City sounds gay (no offense anyone) when you don't know that you are referring to a soccer team. Along these lines, I think the Trust should lobby to get the club's badge to say Manchester City rather than MCFC. If you want people (overseas especially) to know who you are you should state your name. No kid outside the UK will lean toward MCFC, but if he learns Manchester City are rivals the famous Manchester United, well then that has some pulling power.

I agree to an extent with the anonymous contributor. City's new badge is very poor and use of MCFC does limit overseas recognition. A lot of clubs have gone back to their old ensignia, Barnsley and Chelsea recently. We have issues of licensing with ours but was this deal time limited? I'd like to see the proper badge back on the blue shirts.

HI OLLIE ...LOGO NOW LOOKS A LOT BETTER..NOW NEED TO DISPLAY IT AROUND THE STADIUM,,TO HELP WITH THE MEMBERSHIP DRIVE AND TO GET MORE PUBLICITY FOR THE TRUST...SUGGEST YOU VISIT www.barmyflags.co.uk you can design your own flags including colours, lettering, sizes, and price of your design .A FEW FLAGS WITH THE LOGO, OVERHANGING THE SECOND TIER WOULD LOOK GREAT FOR UNITED MATCH OR EVEN ONE GIANT ONE BEING PASSED AROUND THE STADIUM...
