Community Projects

Supporter’s Trusts are set up not only to promote and support the concept of democratic supporter ownership but also to promote football clubs as civic and community institutions. This is something that we wholeheartedly endorse.

Manchester City Football Club via City In The Community is already engaged in numerous community projects which should be applauded. We would like to see a Supporter’s Trust help spread this important work further wherever possible.

This is one area where we are undertaking a lot of research and seeking much input/ advice. Ideally, we would like a Supporter’s Trust to support community projects that will compliment City In the Community’s work and if possible break new ground in areas which may have been overlooked. When our research is complete we will put forward our proposals. In the meantime, we welcome your views, ideas, comments and questions on this important topic to mcfcsupporters@hotmail.co.uk
